Q. How long does it take?

A. A typical visit lasts anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours depending on the size of the area and the soiling of the carpet.

Q.  When can I walk on my carpets?

A. Right away! As soon as we are finished, you can walk on your carpets. Although the drying time of your carpet may vary depending on relative humidity and temperature. Typical drying time is a few hours after cleaning.

Q.Do you move furniture?

A. Absolutely! We most most furniture like sofas, beds, chairs, and kitchen tables. We prefer not to move expensive items like china cabinets, brand new pianos, or your new 72 inch HD television. Odds are, however, that we will move most of your furniture.

Q. Do you raise the price at the door?

A. Never in a million years. We have been giving estimates for a long time, and understand the layout of most houses in Baltimore.  When we quote you a price over the telephone, that is the actual price we expect you to pay - not a watered down version designed to be heightened at the door. Our aim is to build trust with our customers - which begins with being honest and forward over the phone.

Q. What is Deep Cleaning? How is it different from other cleaning?

A. Deep Cleaning is a method of carpet cleaning that utilizes high levels of friction in a rotary movement to clean far down into your carpet fibers. This type of cleaning removes many types of soil, stains, and other fragments that typical bonnet cleaning or regular wand steam cleaning will not do. Deep Cleaning with a Rotovac 360 is the only system used by BabyCare Carpet Cleaning.

Q. Why is it important to remove Pet Stains?

A. Pet Stains are among the most disturbing stains in the field of carpet cleaning. As a result of their high alkaline (salt) content, they absorb moisture from the air and attract bacteria which causes odor. Superficial cleaning efforts will not remove pet stains, as the urine seeps down into the padding of the carpet. In order to professionally treat pet stains, we use anti-microbial and enzyme injections to eliminate the urine deep within the padding. This is the only way to satisfactorily remove pet urine stains from your carpet.

Q. Is carpet cleaning safe for pets and children?

A. The chemicals that we use are certified as "industry standards" and when used properly are always safe for pets and children. As a business that is family owned and operated, we understand the importance of safe cleaning practices and we bring this belief to your doorstep upon every call.
